hi all!
i am new to the MF3D list and a fairly new owner of a spud camera. like
most of the spuds out there mine had the light leak. i knew that paul
talbot did the spud modifications but i was interested in doing it
myself. after talking/e-mailing paul he put together a kit for me. we
met in austin ( i live in houston ) and paul showed the kit to david
williams ( my partner ) and myself. we got out the spud last night and
the kit and proceeded to modify the camera. we made sure all the pieces
were cut and fit precisely before securing in place. i must say we are
quite pleased with the modifications. it was easy to do. if you are
thinking of doing your own modifications i would say do not hesitate to
do so. paul is very easy to work with and will take the time to explain
if one doesn't understand the procedure.
my advice is to go for it!
dorothy
