I shot one roll of Velvia 120 with my Pentax some time back. The
color was outstanding. Until I looked at the sky. I recall that the day
I shot the film it was a bright clear fall day in Franklin Pennsylvania.
Not a cloud in the sky. But the Velvia rendered the sky a deep DEEP blue.
It was a bright blue. For some reason, I didn't like it. On the other hand,
the same day I shot a roll of Provia which I liked much better. The Velvia
had more snap and contrast, but the Provia's colors were more accurate and
true to what I remember the day as. I think if I were shooting antique cars,
and using the Pentax, Velvia might be a consideration. But to be honest, I
still like Provia 100F best and E100S or SW next for the 120 format. In 35mm
I have settled on KM-25 and Provia 100F again.

I guess its all in what the individual likes. Nice part is that there are
so many chrome films to choose from in 120 format.

Its still very difficult to find a good Kodachrome lab. A&I is about the
best.
