I AGREE whole heartily with this! Most of my shots in 35mm with two Olympus
SLR's were in the
60 to 100mm spacing ranges... The REAL trick is in the MOUNTING of these
and just trying to remember not to get stuff TOO CLOSE in the shot in the
first place! Most pleaseing 3D effects for me anyway seem to have been when
I shot at around the 100mm seperation. This seemed to enhance rather than
exagerate the 3d effect in the photos. I'll be forced to shoot in the
100mm range now anyway once I obtain my second Hassy and I am NOT bothered
by this at all. -Enough said on this, so let me also say that I have had a
number of viewers with various focal length lenses. The ones with the
Interoccular adjustments are a MUST in my estimation for the added ability
of realing 'zeroeing in' on a spacing that is comfortable with the
individual anyway. Just as most people "focus" at different lengths, I
believe that the Interoccular adjust can be just as important too. From
what I am hearing so far, the mounting of SLIDES seems to be a nightmare
when compared to the mounting of a STEREO PRINT. However the dazzling
reality of the slides cannot be ignored.

Therefore, may I ask of you WHICH is the 'best' system and most 'hassle
free' way to mount MF slides?
