I think than Van Ekeren may have added a negative focal length lens to
the Horizon Loupes although I am not sure about this.  I talked to him
at the NSA and on some of his viewers he mentioned that he disassembled
the Loupes and added another lens (this is easy to do with the Horizon
lenses) to increase focal length.  I am not sure what it would do to
limit distortion however.
