Apparently I have been using the wrong definition for 
deviation. Or at least I have been using two different 
deviations interchangably.

I understand your definition of on film deviation (the right 
one of course). I was using total deviation (probably best 
changed to something like total separation) in the same 
context.

I stand corrected and appologize for the confusion.

I attended your workshop in Mesa and fully understand the 
concepts and techniques for limiting the on film deviation by 
using the correct interlens spacing for a given set of 
variables (lens fl, distance to near and far object, film 
size, etc.). This was an excellent workshop and helped a lot 
of people take better, more viewable images.

It looks like I may be doing a MF projected show at Buffalo, 
so you all will be able to judge whether or not I know what I 
am doing *{;-).
