WR2 Kodachrome 64 120 format, regrettably it has been discontinued for some
time. (They still make 35 mm Kodachrome in 25, 64, and 200 speeds). The
Kodachrome that I have been shooting comes from a brick (20 rolls) I
obtained which had an expiration date of 1989! This said, it had been
kept cool and looks fine. The film support (Estar, I believe) does show
some signs of age, e.g., the occaisional pinhole, as can happen to
polyesters.
By the way, I have seen a couple of Rolleidoscopes come up for
auction on ebay (keyword stereo), but they weren't cheap: >$2000.
Thanks for the tip about the baffles.
Regards,
Kevin

Deering's Sputnil baffle.
After reading Kevin's intro I was surprised to see that he mentioned
Kodachrome 64 - 120. Is this film generally available? I haven't seen
it at Hunt's, the large photo store here in the North-of-Boston area.
I've been using Provia but would love to use Kodachrome 120.
Also, is anyone using a Rolleidoscope? Are they generally better than
the Sputnik... I know that they cost a lot more... or are they really
just antiques now?
BTW Kevin, Tom Deering has created a baffle to "cure the Sputnik
camera's internal reflections".
