Does anyone have any first hand experience converting MF into Realist
format or superslides?
The only problem, is the lost of sharpness...
Any in camera images, is always sharper then a dup. unless you go into the very expense duplicating system.


How expensive would it be to get MF slides professionally reduced to superslides?   Do any pro labs offer this service?   I think Tom's idea of reducing MF to superslides so as to allow MF shooters to project using twinned 35mm projectors is well worth looking into.   Expense is a relative thing - trying to find two matched MF projectors isn't cheap either.
Another advantage of this approach is that the slides can be projected with the gear that's already set up at many stereo clubs.
