Here in the UK I can generally find slightly outdated 220 rolls in 
boxes of 5 for about £10 - mostly Vericolor Pro 400. I have been 
buying it and respooling it with old backing papers that I get from 
one of our processors. I find that it is quite simple to do if you are 
reasonably conversant with a changing bag. When you do get your 
"turns" worked out, please put them in the mail - I would be 
interested in trying it with a 220 spool. What about scratches? The 
Sputnik preasure plate does leave a lot to be desired. Perhaps a 
thin piece of velvet might soften the blow a bit. Perhaps I will give it
