If you decide to go with halogen bulbs you might be disappointed
by the AA batteries. According to Radio Shack's Battery
Guidebook, a AA alkaline battery can support 0.25A maximum
current. Some halogen bulbs draw 0.8A current. You could use
the AA batteries to light halogen bulbs but they will not last
long. If the viewer is used often rechargeable batteries make
more sense.
