Sputnik fix-up kit

Here's what I've identified so far as going in the Sputnik
fix-up kit:

      - Black yarn
      - Velveteen
      - Removable paper baffles
(inside surfaces covered with flocking paper)
      - Fine tip (plastic) to attach to tube of contact cement
      - extra flocking paper
      - black gaffers tape
      - tripod bushing (optional)

I would have liked to include the contact cement or other
glue, but I understand there could be problems with the
the postal regulations against mailing hazardous materials.

The velveteen is based on Sam's recommendation (on his Spud
fix up page) for blocking the light that comes through the
door hinges. I bought velveteen at a fabric store, but I'd
like to find something better. The velveteen seems to want
to unravel, so I'm not sure how long it will hold up. Ideas?

I'm also going to look into adding sun shades to the kit.

For those who prefer a lower cost and more of a do-it-yourself
fix up experience, I can substitute the materials for making
the baffles and the materials for making the sun shades instead
of the pre-made versions of those items.

I think black gaffers tape on the Spud door joints is a good
precaution even if the other light leak fixes have been made.

All feedback on the kit proposal welcomed!
