  K-mount and M-42 (pentax screwmount) lenses
need to be 46.46mm from the film plane to achieve
infinity focus. Medium format bodies are usually
much thicker than this. So, unless you can lock
up the mirror and then mount your lens way inside
the body you are out of luck.

  This problem is why I'm thinking about hacking
up an old folder type camera (to get the lens
close to the film plane).

  Not a machinist, though my (always busy)
brother-in-law is. That doesn't stop me
from dreaming and sometimes building (like
my Stereo Ricohmatic 225 project).
