Re: Goofy project idea

Oh boy!, Some of you boys do go out of your way to make life
difficult. I don't think I would have the engineering ability or the
cheek to even think of such things. I thought I was pretty way out
when I shot pinhole stereo. I have often marvelled at the way some
folk take two cameras and saw them into two pieces and then weld
them back together. I just feel that this is taking things a little over
the top when there are so many good stereo camera's to be bought
at camera fairs and auctions. I have written to the Director of the
Fed factory in Kiev suggesting to him that it might be a good idea if
the Fed were made FULL FRAME stereo. It is, after all, a minor
adjustment and the winder can be adjusted with a fine file to give
full frame automatic winding. I also suggested that a switch to
disconnect the battery when not in use would be a great help. I
have had quite a bit of correspondence with him and he is very
open to constructive suggestions. So, perhaps we may see a full
frame 35mm stereo custom built camera before long?
