A couple years ago I took some slide bar night shots with my 2x3 Crown
Graphic (one of which was in a folio I think).  I actually *liked* the
retinal rivalry.  The left image had a long red trail from the tail lights
of a car going down the hill, and the right image had a white trail from
the headlights of a car going up.  I thought the retinal rivalry added a
nice shimmering quality to the look of the night lights.

That said, I did *not* think retinal rivalry helped make clouds look like
they were in motion in my slide bar day landscapes.  They just looked funny
:-/
