Fireworks scans

Hi gang,

Les kindly scanned my MF Expo entries
and send me the files for my web page.

I have uploaded three versions of
my Final fireworks slide to my
web page: 1) parallel view 400 pixel
wide, 15kbyte, 2) cross view 800 pixel
wide, 60kB, 3) cross view 1250 pixel,
150KB.

Les did a great job scanning but I
don't know if any web/jpeg photo can
do an MF stereo slide justice. Especially
fireworks where there is ONLY fine detail
(no big objects obscuring others etc).

So, I'd appreciate it if you took
a look at my image and tell me what you
think. I didn't do any unsharp masking
after resizing down from the 600 pixel
wide individual images. Let me know if
you think the sizes are appropriate and
if there is anything I can do to improve
their look on the web page (a dark background
perhaps).

My screen isn't wide enough to view
the third one BTW, so tell me if it's
a useful size for anyone (takes a lot
of my web space, though I have offers
from a few people for some of theirs).

Tey are all compressed with the
Photoshop 3.0 medium compression setting.
Should I have used the high?

Thanks - Greg
