Sputnik light/dark images

I've deleted the messages, but I think this is the listserv where
mismatched Spud lenses were recently discussed, maybe because of the one
recently sold on S3D. I had to replace the lenses on one side of my
Sputnik, because on close examination, one side had a coated lens (outer
element) and the other didn't! Big difference in the image on film. Using
a complete 3 element array from a Lubitel with coated lenses, I was able
to solve the problem. Fair amount of luck re matching up pretty well-- at
least the images look good in an achromat mf viewer... 

(I think I'll also look at modifying the camera to go to f32-- thanks for
the tip, and looking forward to seeing Les' post.)
