Subject: Important Announcement from Rocky Mountain Memories
Dear Friends:
====================================================================
Message from Joel Alpers:
After several years running Rocky Mountain Memories, I have
reluctantly decided that it is time to step down. Family issues,
together with a pending household move to a new area have made
it impossible for me to continue to run a business in addition
to my career in engineering, while continuing to provide the
level of customer service that you all deserve.
I am thrilled to announce, though, that Rocky Mountain Memories
will continue to serve the needs of the stereo photography
community! I have reached an agreement with Paul Talbot, who
will be continuing the business. Paul brings a great deal of
3D and business experience, and I fully believe he is the right
person to bring the company to the next level of service and
value
to the 3D community.
Please give Paul your support and encouragement as he begins
this exciting new venture!!

Message from Paul Talbot:
Thank you, Joel, for your kind words expressing confidence in
me and my ability to serve the 3-D community through Rocky
Mountain Memories. Additionally, I'm sure I speak for many
P3D'ers in saying "Thank you, Joel!" for your years of devoted
service and support of this hobby we all love. As many list
members know, under Joel's stewardship RMM has set a high
standard for excellent service, value, and quality stereo
photography products. Joel leaves big shoes for me to fill,
but I pledge to devote my best efforts to ensure that RMM
continues to meet or exceed the expectations of its customers
and the 3-D community.
The Rocky Mountain Memories web page will remain at its current
location (http://www.frii.com/~rkymtmem/ ) for the time being,
but will move to a new home in the months to come. The order
entry form on the web site has been updated so that your orders
will automatically be sent to me from now on. You can also
e-mail
orders directly to me at mailto:ptww@xxxxxxxxx
I had made plans months ago to attend the convention in Green
Bay...my first NSA convention! I had no idea at the time that
I'd be there as the owner of RMM. I have been hastily putting
together plans to have some RMM products and supplies available
for purchase during room hopping, as well as in the trade show.
(I hope my table reservation form was not too late!) So now I
am looking forward to meeting many RMM customers in Green Bay,
in addition to the many P3D friends I've "met" here on the 'net
these past few years! Please stop by to say hello while you are
in Green Bay!
Joel and I have been working hard to ensure the least possible
disruption of service to all RMM customers. If you have any
questions, please do not hesitate to contact me at:
mailto:ptww@xxxxxxxxx
Meanwhile, please join me in wishing Joel all the best in his
"retirement" from Rocky Mountain Memories!
====================================================================
Thank you all for your past and continued support of Rocky
Mountain Memories!
