  Actually for viewing 35mm slides it's a
bit low magnification. The Red Button has
44mm FL lenses for example.

  But 50mm FL does give you ortho for
slides taken with twin SLRs with 50mm
lenses.

  My brother Pat made his viewer (with
same lenses) to accept MF slides as well
as 2x2x2's and 41x101s. The MF slides
have too much magnification IMO but he
likes it. I have some photos of his viewer
