RMM/Spicer are the best/cheapest source IMO.

The King Inn mounts also work (available from
Que-Vue or how ever it's spelled) but are costly at
$50 per 100 pc last I heard. They have a slightly
larger opening (52 x 51.5mm I think) but the front
and rear openings are the same size so you can get
a double edge effect which I find annoying.

The RMM/Spicer mounts have a 50x50mm front window
and a 52x52mm rear window so by cutting out the front
windows to 53x53mm (crudely is okay) then you can use
the rear 52x52 as the front for slides that can stand
to be cropped to 50x50mm.

Plus RMM/Spicer has the 645 mounts in portrait and
landscape orientation and the 20-some by 50-some panoramic
mount.

By mixing and matching front and rears from the different
mounts you can get 40x40, 42x42 and other combinations
for slides that need a lot of cropping.

Can you tell which brand I prefer? :) :)

  Sounds good.
