 I have been reading the mail on you guys with the flourescent tubes. I am
modifying my king inn with a Vita lite full spectrum flourescent tube(13
watt). The light from it is a very very white light that is supposed to be
the closest thing to real sunlight.The manufacturer states that the visable
uv output isn't attenuated and that is the reason for its ability to
portray colors vividly. The tube is a 13 watt and the king inn is normally
a 4 watt tube. I'm going to dim it down a bit.  I  may call the
manufacturer to ask about excessive uv radiation -being so close to the
eyes and all.
