If the timer is the same as the one in the Lubitel, the timer is a little
clockwork mechanism in the lower right corner of the shutter. (About the 4
or 5 o'clock position.)
Is your timer stuck on, or stuck off? When you hit the button, it should
buzz for 7-8 seconds, then click the shutter. If it's not buzzing, it
probably needs to be disassembled. It's a very simple little clockwork.
If yours is damaged, I have two you can have.
I should point out that disassembly is not difficult, but the screws that
hold the lens in place are driven into plastic. That means that it would be
really easy to strip them.
Also, the trouble I now have with my lubitels is related to disassembling
the lenses, although you won't have to disassemble them as far as I did to
work on the timer.
