Don Lopp called me last night. We
talked about various thing but here
are a few highlights.

He is very impressed with the folio
this time (6A) and especially with
Steve Spicer's Rolleidoscop camera/photos.

His back is still troubling him
so he is back on morphine.

I discovered that he has never
seen the comments on his folio slides.
Wasn't someone going to be printing
them out and putting them in the
folio box for him? I feel really bad
that we've been enjoying all his
slides for many months and he hasn't
seen any of the feedback.

I'm willing to print out all the
web comments and send them off to Don
unless a US-ian wants to do it for
quicker mail time. LMK.

He also said that Velvia is the
only slide film that is still grainless
in his viewer (46mm FL lenses).

He does like the new Fuji pushable
film (100-1000 speed?) that is quite
good at 200. Soft at 100 he says.
Expensive due to the push processing.

He said that he shares slides with
Paul Wing and that Paul has a Rolleidoscop
also though he doesn't thing to much
of medium format. Due to having a King
Inn viewer Don thinks (bad lenses, uneven
viewing). So Paul still thinks 35mm is
best.

I asked him if his friend in England
got a hold of Tony. Don said he lost
contact with this guy. This fellow apparantly
doesn't have a telephone and has to
travel 12 miles to his sisters house.
Tony did you ever hear from Don's friend?

That's all for now - Greg
