No, I got it too. I'm checking the config file for the
list to see if there's a way to block stuff like this.
So far it looks like there is not, but I -can- configure
it so it won't advertise this email list when someone
issues a "lists" command to majordomo at this ISP.

Hard to believe that any email list software doesn't have
a setting to block postings from non-members, but it seems
to be true in this case!!!

You are, Tom!  And I'll configure the list to require
moderator approval of subscriptions, but in the case
of this posting there was no subscription involved!
