In a way, I was only sort of kidding. If you had identical 35mm cameras,
you could make time exposures using a cellphone, radio or even flashlight,
depending on visibility. Kid's walkie talkie? The exposure wouldn't need
to be split second accurate.
I cannot expect to be taking many pictures of the stars here in New York
City. If the city lights don't get you, the roving bums will. Central
Park after dark is not like a mountain top in Hawaii. Maybe the beach at
Coney Island? :^)
