I don't know about convenience. At least for me, there's no extra trouble.
I was buying my film from B&H before, so that's the same. The pro color
lab that was doing my E6 does 120/220 also. (The processing and film are
actually cheaper, per roll.) I got my mounts from Rocky Mtn before, so
that's no change, either.
My Saturn viewer is different, but not less convenient. Except for the
focusing, I think I like it better than that ugly Realist viewer I have.
And from the few I've done so far, the mounting seems easier. I can
freeview them on the lightbox.
And the cameras? What can I say? I love to look at the old 50's cameras.
I worship their mechanisms and styling. But as a photo taking tool, I can't
say the 50's cameras are very convenient. So if I'm going to use a manual
everything dinosaur, I might as well get some tasty photos for my trouble.
Oh, there's one inconvenient thing I can think of. Only 12 shots on a
roll. I can't say I'm thrilled with that. Otherwise, I've found my medium.
Cheers,
Tom
(But I haven't brought up projection. :^))
