I don't know what it is, but I mess up and double expose film in MF
cameras far too often. (Once in 3 rolls with Sam's Spud and a number
of times with my pair of Ricohflexes.) One of my Realists doesn't
have the double exposure prevention, and I never even noticed until
someone who borrowed it mentioned double exposing. I've never had
a double-exposure in that camera. Must be something about that big
expensive 120 film. Another Murphy's law corollary? The more
pricey the film, the more likely the photog botches something.
