  Gaffers tape is supposed to be good. Looks like
duct tape but doesn't leave goo behind. I know Calumet
sells it but don't know if one's local stores would
carry it.

  At f16 or f22 I think you can get away with it.
But cutting and rolling with paper is not something
I'd like to do.

  The supply spool knob on the Sputnik doesn't
have a flange to grab the spool slot. So there
is no hope of tensioning it this way.
