Yep.  That's right.  This does present a problem.  I doubt that my
twin air release is anywhere near strong enough to cock and fire
this shutter.  I'll have to use two cable releases, and even then
it's a long throw to fire the shutter.  They also have a second cable
release socket that always treats the shutter as if it's in bulb mode.
I assume this is for focusing and composition.

I'll have to make measurements tonight and answer this tomorrow.

Just from memory they appear to need about a 40mm hole and they stick
out less than 10 mm behind the mounting plate.  Overall, they're probably
about 80-90mm in diameter and maybe 30-40mm thick.  Mine didn't come
with a lock nut, so if anyone's having some made, put me down for two please.
