Now this is a great idea! I never thought of doing this. You jogged my
memory that I have an old 1960's era single rail belows in excellent
shape sitting behind the microfiche reader.
I was just looking at it and also realized that the size of the bellows
would allow it to be used in pairs to create a light seal between the
lensboard and the camera body. The bellows is about 2.13" sq. on the
outside, so two side by side should just make it for the lens spacing.
Wow, two birds with one stone.
I even think that this bellows unit with a single rail is precise and
strong enough to support and guide the lensboard.
You're quite a creative camera hacker.
