New MF Folio - update

So far for the new MF folio ("new" as Greg Erker currently runs a
MF folio) we have:

Joel Alpers
Brian Reynolds
David Lee
Paul Talbot
Lester Ng
Stephen Puckett

Les Gehman *
Greg Erker *

* Have volunteered to sit in for a loop or maybe two while
we get started. We probably won't need them, as we've got
about enough people to get started.

We've got a few new folks, so I wanted to issue one more "call for
participants" before we get started.

For any of you not familiar, this is a "circular slide folio". You
get a package in the mail with a number of medium format stereo slides,
(up to four from each person participating). You view them, make
constructive comments, add four views of your own, and mail it to the
next person on the list. It "loops" around all participants until it
comes back to you. You then do it again, removing your four views and
replacing them with four new views.

It's a terrific way to see other people's MF Stereo work, as well as
to get constructive comments on your own views, mounting, composition,
etc. etc. etc!!!! It also helps encourage those of us who don't find
much "shooting time" to get out and take some pictures!

We try to time it so that the box comes around every 3 months, so
it isn't too much of a burden to keep up.

This will be the last "call for participants" for Loop 1. I anticipate
starting in early September.

BTW, we track comments electronically, via a WEB page. You can view
comments on Greg's current MF folio by going to URL:

  http://www.frii.com/~rkymtmem/rkymtmem-3d

and selecting "Greg's Medium Format Folio".

When you get in, enter your name as a "User Name" and "**" as
the password.

You'll notice that there is also a new entry for "Joel's Medium Format Folio"
but as we haven't started yet, it's empty ;) ;)

Thanks!!!

Joel.
