I wonder if one could build a stereo
camera based on Kiev 88 80mm f2.8 lenses.
Kalimex S.R.O. sells them for $50 US
(plus shipping from Czech Republic).

They have apertures and focusing
helicals built in but would need a
shutter to make a camera. I wonder
if you could mount a LF leaf shutter
behind each lens and use it kind of
like a focal plane shutter.
I guess it depends on how big the
rear elements are to determine how
big a leaf shutter you need.
Put them in a box and use scale
focusing and start shooting.
Too wacky?
