I think so. The lens covers only go over the
Bay1 bayonets. The focusing linkage is below the
moving lens panel.
A better question is where the shutter blade
linkage that you are going to install is going
to go. I'd guess it will come through the side
of the figure-8ish lens bulge. So that shouldn't
interfere with lens caps either.

On the subject of NSA, we now know (thanks
to P3D) that our old friend Eric isn't quite
so old and wise but just appears that way on
the i-net. :) :)
Equally amusing (to me) is that I get back to
work after my vacation, finally knowing what Sam
looks like and discover that he's put a photo of
himself on his web page. But would he, or any of
you put a self portrait in the MF folio. Noooooooo!
