I've also used twin Richoflexes.  They have front element focusing;
only the film winder is an issue.  One advantage of the Richoflex
is they are fairly compact and the wind knob doesn't stick out very
far.  I don't remember the numbers, but the spacing (stereo base)
isn't too bad with the wind knob of the left camera touching the
body of the right camera.  And I have such tiny bones that I can
stick a thumb and finger between the cameras and advance the knob
with very little clearance between the cameras.
