I would like to take MF anaglyph slides for projecting (single
images, not side-by-side as in the Realist mount mentioned above).
I have a single projector. I conceptualize some ways to accomplish
this:
1. Use MF camera that permits double-exposures. Take Left pic
with 1 filter (Red?) and Right pic double-exposed with the
other filter (Blue?) double exposed. Question: Do I adjust the
exposure to get 'proper' end exposure - say, under by 1 stop? A
disadvantage is that the images may have alignment problems that
cannot be corrected.
2. Take both images separately with appropriate filters and then
double-mount the chips (ie. 1 on top of the other in the mount).
3. Use a beam-splitting arrangement with filters over the different
sides.
Questions that I have:
A. Which color goes on which side?
B. What are the best color filters to use (brand, ID number)?
C. Can this be done with color film? How? I've seen color
anaglyphs that were OK but don't know about limitations of film
used or colors in the scene (ex. avoid blue and red).
I'm thankful for any assistance but this is *not* a burning issue
with me. I'm busy cobbling up a nifty MF slide viewer with lenses
I just got from Sam Smith 8D
