eBay is an on-line auction. There are several out there, but eBay is by
far the biggest.

You need to register to bid, but not to window shop. There are no fees
for buyers (though some sellers pass eBay costs on to buyers). To sell
an item costs $0.25 to list it, plus 2.5% of the realized selling price.
