Dale just recently learned of the Expo and new MF 3D shooter Dorothy
just recently decided she could change from view-only to contributing
participant. Fritz, Dave, Brenda, and Robert either haven't mentioned
anything to me recently, or have unresolved e-mail communications about
their status. Would the six of you let me know your current status in
the next day or so?

Past expos/exchanges have been held up for long periods waiting for late
contributions. I don't think that is fair to the contributors who have
kindly loaned their slides to the expo. I therefore plan (hope!) to start
MF 3D EXPO 2000 on its way by the end of this week.

The progress of the expo can be monitored by visiting:
http://www.rmm3d.com/funlearn/mf3dexpo2000status.html
(with thanks to David Kesner for contributing the use of his Gamma folio
tracking page layout and HTML source)

Note that we will be monitoring compliance with the 1 week maximum turn
around time. Total circuit elapsed time should be about 8 months. That
is based on 25 folks viewing for one week each, and allowing 2 days for
mail between participants (1 week for 2 cross-border mailings). You
might wonder "so what if I'm two days late?" Well here's what: if each
person takes 2 extra days, return of the slides to the makers will be
delayed by almost 2 months! Therefore, everyone is strongly advised
to observe the 1 week *maximum* for holding the expo. Yes, you are
allowed to hold it *less* than 1 week. Please don't leave it sitting
on a shelf untouched either before or after viewing the expo. View the
images, show them to friends if you like, prepare feedback for the slide
makers who request it (if you want to do so), and promptly send the expo
to the next person. Sam tells me he is prepared to storm down from Canada
to personally wreak havoc on the life of anyone who cannot meet their
obligation to forward the expo promptly! (OK, a slight exaggeration.)

Just remember: by signing up to participate you are committing to comply
with the one week maximum. If there is any reason you won't be able to
comply, you should refrain from participating. Let's make this a great
experience for all the participants!
