Yes and no. No when I am running the projector for gross
sorting, but I always take the "ortho" seat when I am
selecting and viewing my exhibition entries. Like I stated you
MUST see your images as the judges would see them in order to
make the best selection. An image looks totally different in
the front of the room and in the back of the room or the
middle or far side.
I fully standby my statement that all FINE detail that is
present in a hand viewer is lost in projection. IMHO this is
from three factors: 1) incomplete exclusion of the images
(ghosting or cross-talk or whatever you want to call it) 2)
dimmer lighting 3) critical focus (from the projector lenses,
from the lenticular screen, from enlargement, and mostly from
projectionist error).
