To all:
This projection thread raises some issues. At home, I have a realist
projector
(Compco, 500 W lamps, 4 in lenses) and an aluminum lenticular screen. I
have been generally pleased with the quality of the images, although I have
noticed that small birds, for example, tend to be the first casualties of
projection. I have attributed this
to a kind of "granularity," imparted by the lenticular screen. Is this the
real cause?
And, what about silver screens? Are they really silver? (And, if so, why
don't they
oxidize?) How are they different from lenticular screens?
Regards,
Kevin
