[MF3D.FORUM:1384] Black mount update

I processed all the charges for the pre-orders for
the black mounts early this month, after placing
the mount order with the manufacturer back in early
November.  Many thanks to all who placed pre-orders
to help get this off the ground.

The production run should be finished sometime in the
second half of this month.  Based on the transit time
for the  2D mounts from the same supplier (shipped 2nd
week of October and I don't have them here yet), I'm
expecting the black mounts will take 10 weeks or more
to arrive from the time they leave the factory.  (I
had previously figured about 45 days.)

So far only two people have indicated an interest in
having some mounts sent express air (for an expected
add-on charge of $10/100).  Unfortunately, at that low
volume my costs may be more like $25/100 for the air
freight, which puts the proposal in jeopardy.  If you
would like to join in to get your mounts sooner (late
Dec to early Jan) and can spare $10 for the cause,
please let me know in the next couple days.  Send word
