Hello Sam and friends!
Thanks for everything.
I am just now getting started in MF stereo slides. I'm
looking forward to view them in the new viewer.
I really believe that these Hanimex lenses will be really
great. I've seen a MF viewer a couple of days ago... its
lenses were plan-convex, of about 75mm / 35mm diameter. They
were made by a technician in optics (these guys who make our
glasses) and they performed really well! I wonder how those
Hanimex doublets must be great!
I am using 2 6x6 Bronicas with 50mm / 75mm and 150mm.
The stereo base became really large, but I really don't
notice too much of a Giant's View effect. In fact I usually
converge the axes, so that I don't have to cut much of the
images. When I do this, the several plans of the image seem
to be further appart, when compared to a non-convergent
image.
I haven't compared slides made with different stereo bases,
though.
Oh, and Mr. Thorpe, I'll be most glad to send you everything
about my stereo viewer, as soon as I build it.
Thanks folks!
Niels
