I get it from Lee Valley (A Fine Wood Working Store)
It's adhesive backed felt and it sticks quite very good to bakelite. you 
can cut it to shape you want, make sure it fits then just peel the back off.
it costs about 11.50 Canadian for 17" x 24" roll.
