You could have bought from many other places - including via this list and 
got an equally good deal and performance (and possibly a better 
guarantee). Pity you didn't ask here before and save those dollars!

Assuming you don't get muck in the movement I think they will go on 
working for quite a while - though I have only put a few hundred rolls 
through mine so far.

They share some problems with other more expensive models of this type I 
have used - tendency to flare, and it is easy to tear the film at the end 
of the roll. 

The only other thing I'd suggest is to get into the habit of completing 
the last wind-on at the end of the film (by pressing the rewind button and 
then winding on) before you rewind the film. It is possible for the 
shutter to come open during rewind otherwise, though obviously it 
shouldn't. Your camera may or may not suffer from this fault (and it is 
difficult to tell).

I'd suggest stopping down to f8 or below for best results in any case, 
when they do definitely give sharpness to infinity. I've never used mine 
wider than f5.6.

Hardest thing is of course getting pictures to work!
