One of the things I have done for my Noblex (which I frequently use in
reeally terrible weather), is to make a series of 'jackets' for it out
of various plastics and fabrics. I have 'wind-chill', 'rain', and
'umbrella' sleeves which clamp to the hand grips and cover all areas of
the body not seen by the swing lens. During exposures in wet weather I
remove the finder and use as 90 degree cable release so the top can be
covered too. With a little ingenuity and a good seamstress (use your
mother if she is available) a variety of protective covers can be had
for very little money.
