Before reinventing the wheel you should know that gears are already
available at a fair price. Jim Johnson has hundreds of brand new gears that
were left over from when the plant was closed. Also, Stanley Stern and Ron
Kline are cutting custom gears.

You can get keys from a good clock shop. I pay about $5-6 bucks for them.

Does anyone have a specifications for all camera gear sets and keys for an
EK Cirkut Cameras? I just made a new friend who has been a gear maker for
more than 30 years, and he might be willing top make these gears for a
decent price. But specs are required to show pitch, number of teeth,
diameter, whatever.
