Re. Horizon 202 problems

I have had the same blueish purple line about 1mm wide through the
entire length of film on a roll of transparancy film (Kodak EB-2), at
the bottom, just above the perforation. The images are all in focus
throughout. I just purchased the Horizon 202 new a few weeks ago. I
cannot notice any scratches on the transparancy nor can I detect any
scratches on the negative film I shot. I have not yet printed any of
these images yet. Still waiting to get back machine prints.
The 202 seems to be a great little pan camera except for this line
at the bottom of the film. Its easy enough to crop out on a custom
print. I guess it will be pretty obvious on the machine prints!
I checked the drum very closely and may have found a spec of
something near the bottom, so I used the sticky side of scotch tape to
eliminate it. I also cleaned the entire length of the slit. Hope this
takes care of it.
