I just have this crazy idea. It may not work. Anyway, I am not handy with
tools, so I have to rethink.

I have been to your very informative web site. Shall reread the relevant
pages again.

Changing to a new camera or new lens always gives me new ideas, and getting
them to work is the fun part.
