Just thought I'd drop a note. Talked to Kieth Canham today (some minor
adjustments to my DLC45) He said that the design is complete for the
6X17 roll film back to be used in conjuction with the newly released (8
weeks) DLC57. (I think it is being called something else.) Just think, a
field camera that weighs under 6 lbs, that will shoot 5X7, 4X5, 6X17,
6X12, 6X9, and 6X7. Other details...the 4X5 reducing back is the size of
a 5X7 filmholder (graphlox type)..the same on the 6X17 rollfim back. He
said that he is attempting to keep the price of the rollfilm back around
1200 US, but that it may be very tough to do so. He did mention his
first quote came in muuuuch higher
