As soon as you have your image inside a computer, it doesn't matter too
much what camera you were using: You can convert between the projections
(panoramic, rectilinear, fisheye etc) as you like. 

For a comparison of the projections using the same source image check

You can also find free software to convert between the projections
at my website.
