In my experience of doing repro for print, I think that TIFF is best for
reproduction *in my case*. There are fewer problems in transfering from
one platform to another and output is almost always guaranteed. For web
use, archiving, etc. I will usually use JPEG files for their smaller
sizes in addition to having a wider color gamet for web pages.
Occationally, I will use an EPS file, but only for clipping paths for
output and in duo-tri-quadra tone b&w pix for reproduction. Works in
progress where I have multiple layers/clipping paths, I leave in
Photoshop format and save the works in progress (or final version) as a
TIFF/EPS/JPEG as needed. Your results may vary:-)
