There is DVD-RAM...however, it is not compatible with current DVD
drive.  Plus DVD-RAM drive cost around $15K or so (last time I checked).

I regular scan my pics for CD burner (scanning at max resolution produce
about 25Megs  or about 25 images per CD).  Also dont forget that a 2x drive
will take about 45 mins or so to burn.

play the piano), but is there a DVD PC-based burner already, which is backward
compatible to read, write and even record on CD roms?
