It also adds 1/15s, although it is not listed on the turret....the 
only mechanical difference between the 500 and 250 model is 4th slit 
width....instead of 1/1, 1/2, 1/4 there is now 1/8 width as well, and 
this goes for both the fast turret speed (1/500s) as the slow turret 
speed (1/15s).

Nope, although rumours go that there is another version, a silent
model, for use in churche, at ceremonies and musea. Haven't seen nor 
heard it....
